A FREE health & music festival designed to raise awareness and enhance the quality of life for residents in and around the Los Angeles area. Event will
feature performances by 6 time Grammy winner Bonnie Pointer (Pointer Sisters), Andy Vargas (Lead Vocalist Santana)
and the hottest underground artists rippin’ the Indie scene.

The Village health Foundation is also proud to announce the 1st Annual VHF Seeds of Evolution - Service Awards, recognizing national & local artists, community advocates, and organizations that promote empowerment and healing in the community

DJ GAZOO It’s safe to say that Los Angeles, California is the Mecca when it comes to people trying to break into the music industry. Most aspiring musicians relocate from other cities, states, and countries. The same might be said for DJ Gazoo, except he didn’t relocate with dreams of the limelight. Born in El Salvador far away from any trendy music scene, and raised in the heart of a booming music metropolis. DJ Gazoo is as native to Los Angeles as any other transplant struggling to garner a name and recognition. Gazoo is not your typical disk jokey hustling to sell you a mix tape to make a quick dollar. He’s also not your 9-5 DJ lobbying for a residency at this month’s hot spot. Dj Gazoo is a jack of all trades, styles, and musical tastes. Gazoo is a DJ in demand. Having dove into the LA music scene head first, Gazoo has worn the hat of a promoter, booker, manager, tour manager, special guest, resident and tour DJ. It was at the bright age of 17 that DJ Gazoo showed an interest in music. Gazoo soon found himself promoting artists for the Rawkus record label on the West Coast. Honing his skills as a street team promoter, Gazoo went on to work with some prominent people and places in the Los Angeles music scene including; Project Blowed, Kajmere Sound, and Divine Forces Radio (kpfk 90.7fm). Although, Gazoo learned an important part of the industry promoting artists, events, and clubs it was only the beginning of his training. It wasn’t until he started working side by side with hosts Sway & Tech, and the legendary DJ Revolution on the World Famous Wake up Show. Here is where Gazoo mingled with some of Hip Hop’s elite, and learned the ropes of urban radio programming. It was during this time that DJ Gazoo realized the possibilities of a music career. From monthly residencies to backyard boogies, you can find DJ Gazoo showcasing his musical skills all over Los Angeles’ musical palate. DJ Gazoo has been featured as a guest and resident DJ for various clubs and events all over Los Angeles including; Resident Fridays, Mouthpeace Mondays, Anda Saturdays, Descarga, Amoeba Music Hollywood, Downtown Art Walk, Zanzibar, Little Temple, and the Old Towne Pub. Gazoo has also displayed his skills as the tour DJ for local Hip Hop acts The Aesthetics Crew and Emcee Olmeca. Gazoo has accompanied both acts on tours to Chicago and throughout California. Although DJ Gazoo’s musical roots are deep in the genre of Hip Hop. As a serious record collector he finds himself immersed in the sounds of Soul, R&B, World, Latin, and everything else that gets the dance floor jumping. DJ Gazoo is gearing up to release the first in a series of mix tapes called “Asi Se Mueve”, an eclectic mix of Brazilian blends and classic Tropical gems that further give insight to Gazoo’s extensive record collection.
