Featured Artist / Rick Keller (Saxophonist & Flautist)
Rick has performed regularly at large festivals and intimate jazz clubs throughout the world. He’s been a sought after soloist and horn section arranger whose work can be heard on European star DJ’s Milk and Sugar’s Higher and Higher, Lift Me Up and Jezebel, as well as several Damien J. Carter tracks. His sax and flute have also been featured on remixes by David Morales and most recently, Groove Junkies.
GJs Funky Roots Rub, GJs Politically Correct Mix
Groove Junkies ‘Funky Roots Rub’ mix utilizes a few of the same elements as their ‘Politically Correct’ Mix, but has a distinct tribal feel that incorporates live percussion, vocal chants, and a female vocal bite from the amazing Solara, along with additional keys. Barack would be proud! Their
‘Politically Correct’ Mix sports a wicked electronic bass and drumline snare pattern which provide the hump for Prophet’s spoken word and Keller’s amazing horn sections, sax solos, and flute. Techy synth stabs, and morphed pads round out the atmospheric palate of sounds. Both mixes will do the damage!
Stuttering Munx Remix, Tim’s Stuttering Munx Re-Rub
UK upstarts Stuttering Munx (Tim Nice & Johnny Young,) have delivered 2 stompin’ main room monsters! Both mixes feature killer beats against a tech house groove, with some massive synth action on the side. The guys use most of the original vocals in this simple, yet very effective remix. With music now signed to labels in Tokyo, Seattle, London & L.A. the future looks bright for Britain’s hottest new production team.

He is also label manager here at MoreHouse Records! He delivers 2 outstanding remixes oozing with soul. Best described as Afro funk with a jazz sax appeal, his funky soca-ish remixes will definitely get the party started. Beautiful sax workings by Rick Keller reinforce a beating drum that will wake the ancestors up. Outer’s rework will take the celebration beyond 2 terms!
