LEARNT FROM LEGENDS! Jahni’s heritage is impressive - Every branch of his family tree forks onto a legendary name! His Grammy nominated mother Judy Mowatt toured the world with Bob Marley as one of the I-Threes and now successfully records in the Gospel field. His father Allan ‘Skill’ Cole rose to fame, first as a star of Brazilian soccer then to manager and compose with the legend, Bob Marley. Even his step father is the legend - Freddie McGregor and even his siblings all are successful in their entertainment field. Legends blood runs thick in Jahni’s veins and is evident in his creative flow. He moved to America for a his college education with glowing praise for his soccer prowess but after injury he switched his interests to what he knew best, a musical career. Foolish choices hit him with many challenging set backs but he channeled this adversity into creative good. During his ‘bleak period’ he was inspired to write. Prolific as a songsmith he has teamed with many in the industry to help hone their craft. Jahni’s has learnt from legends and is mastering his craft.

DJ KERRY Every Wednesday Conversation @ AC LOUNGE Santa Monica, CA 6:00 - 9:00 Every other Friday Conversation / AC LOUNGE Santa Monica, CA 6:00 - 9:00  BIODJ KERRY has been passionate about music since the tender age of 8.  Her musical beginnings began with her playing the piano at age 8 and listening to hard rock until she was introduced to Michael Jackson at age 12. Once soulful music entered her life she expanded her musical genres to everything from R&B, Disco, Rap, Hip-Hop, House and everything in between.  Out of all the genres, house music and rare disco classics are her favorites to spin.DJ KERRY is known for playing very soulful house that includes vocal, tribal, and deep house. Many of her influences come from DJs such as Louie Vega, Marques Wyatt, Joe Claussell, DJ Harvey, Greg Wilson and David Mancuso to name a few. 

One thing that KERRY brings to her sets is the sense of universal appeal.  Her song selections are often not condensed to one type of sound but an accumulation of everything from Brazilian jazz to Latin grooves to afro beats.  Her sense of style is very smooth and seamless.  You can always count on DJ KERRY to make you groove.

For the past 3 years Kerry had been DJing all over Los Angeles and feels honored that she has had the opportunity to open for such artists as Macy Gray, Quest Love of The Roots, Groove Junkies, Morten Trust, DJ MeMe, & Scott K.  In-between playing for different art shows, galleries,  and private parties, KERRY has played at trendy Los Angeles nightlife spots  such as Falcon Bar, Day After, Hollywood Canteen, Crash Mansion, Joseph’s Cafe’, The Standard Hotel, Custom Hotel, Tokio Restaurant Bar & Lounge, & The Roosevelt Hotel to name a few.  You can currently find DJ KERRY playing at the AC Lounge every Wednesday in Santa Monica and the Standard Hotel in Hollywood on a monthly basis.
